"Passing this audit in our first year proves the strength of our due diligence." Timber Development UK said: "This achievement highlights Travis Perkins’ commitment to meeting UK Timber Regulation (UKTR) requirements and ensuring robust supply chain management." As one of the first businesses to adopt timber chain of custody certification, we continue to lead in sustainability. We are pleased to announce our two-year contract with Ipswich Borough Council. Our collaboration will support residents in Ipswich Borough Council’s 8,000 properties, offering ongoing support to help improve homes and communities. The agreement will see Travis Perkins Managed Services supply and store the building materials and tools required to develop and maintain their property portfolio and deliver personal protective equipment and uniforms to protect colleagues across the Suffolk area. Anthony Keen, Business Development Manager for Travis Perkins Managed Services said: “We’re proud of our new agreement with Ipswich Borough Council. By working together we’ll be able to support the people on the ground responsible for carrying out the development and maintenance of those properties so that residents can benefit from the highest possible housing standards. The Canddo Project provides a vital space for individuals to connect with nature, develop practical skills, and give back to their community. This fantastic initiative offers workshops in DIY, gardening, and allotment management. One participant shared "I like being outdoors and giving back to the community.
