About us

First established in 1902, Triumph Motorcycles celebrated 110 years of motorcycle manufacture in 2012. For more than two decades, Triumph Motorcycles has been based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, and has produced iconic bikes that perfectly blend authentic design, character, charisma and performance. Building around 60,000 bikes per year, Triumph is the largest British motorcycle manufacturer and has over 750 dealers across the world. At the heart of Triumph’s philosophy is a commitment and passion to develop truly unique motorcycles that offer a blend of distinctive design, intuitive handling and performance to enjoy the perfect ride. This focus, innovation and engineering passion has today created a broad range of bikes suited to all motorcycle riders, including the striking 2.3 litre Rocket III, the unmistakable Speed Triple, the TT winning SuperSports Daytona 675R, class defining Tiger 800, transcontinental Tiger Explorer and the iconic Triumph Bonneville family. Triumph currently employs around 2000 personnel worldwide and has subsidiary operations in the UK, America, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Benelux, Brazil, India and Thailand as well as a network of independent distributors. Triumph has manufacturing facilities in Hinckley, Leicestershire, and Thailand plus CKD facilities in Brazil and India.

    Triumph Racing is thrilled to welcome elite enduro racer Jonny Walker to the team. @RedBullUK athlete, Walker, will be participating in the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. In addition to this, hard enduro and EnduroGP events are on his radar for the year, as well as securing a wildcard entry in the current year’s AMA EnduroCross series. With a history in trials, Walker’s 15 years of experience in enduro racing is invaluable. His track record boasts victories on multiple fronts - from being a three-time champion at the prestigious Red Bull Erzbergrodeo to multiple SuperEnduro race victories. Walker will make his first competitive appearance for Triumph Racing at the Indoor Enduro of Champions to be held at Newcastle's Utilita Arena on October 5th, before diving into the challenges of the 2025 SuperEnduro season.     Motorsport legend and four-time enduro world champion, Paul Edmondson, has been appointed as Team Manager of Triumph Racing’s enduro programme. Over the recent years, Edmondson has worked extensively with Triumph, across several projects, including providing essential input on the development of the TF 250-X. Fans of the James Bond franchise would remember his impressive work as 007's stunt double in the acclaimed film 'No Time To Die'.     Today, we're celebrating International Women In Engineering Day #INWED24 at Triumph. Our bikes could not have been made possible without the incredible work of the talented women who are based across all of our engineering disciplines, continuously striving to perfection in their craft. We spoke to them this week to discuss their careers in Engineering and what it means to them. If you could give your younger self or an aspiring engineer one piece of advice, what would it be? "Have more faith in yourself – you are more than capable of achieving what you set your mind to" - Lily-May Chapman, Design Engineer What do you enjoy most about working as an Engineer in the Motorcycle Industry? "I enjoy the level of detail and pride that goes in to designing the a-class surfaces. Once the bikes go into production, they are something to stand back and be proud of" - Charlie Wing, Senior CAD Designer "Being surrounded by motorcycles and those with a similar passion" - Charlotte Knight - Electronic Control Systems Engineer What inspired you to become an engineer?
