🚧 Help Shape the Future of the Well-Managed Highway Infrastructure (WMHI) Code of Practice 🚧 The WMHI Code of Practice, published in 2016 by the UK Roads Liaison Group (UKRLG), provides essential guidance for local authorities on managing highway networks. It champions a risk-based approach, allowing policies to be tailored to local needs rather than rigid standards. While not legally binding, compliance demonstrates best practice and helps authorities manage risks effectively. However, the current CoP has not been updated since publication—and it's time for a refresh to meet the needs of the modern highway. 📢 TRL is undertaking a scoping study on behalf of the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom to determine what changes are needed. This initial project will define the scope of updates required before the formal revision process begins. We need your insights! TRL has created a survey to gather industry feedback on: ✅ What works well in the current CoP ❌ What doesn’t work well 🔄 What changes or additions are needed 📩 Take the survey here: https://lnkd.in/e8Hb_nRJ 📅 Deadline: Friday, 7th March 2025 Your input will directly inform a published report outlining the gaps and recommendations for future updates. Thank you for taking the time to support this important work! 💡 #Highways #Infrastructure #Transport #WMHI #RoadSafety
