Meet Aylen from Chile! 🇨🇱 A remarkable young girl with a cleft whose life was transformed by Smile Train's donors. In the beginning, Aylen faced challenges with eating and being understood, but unwavering support from her parents and friends gave her the strength to seek cleft care. With the help of Smile Train, Aylen received essential treatments and was connected with the dedicated doctors and nurses at Fundación Gantz, her local Smile Train partner. She’s incredibly thankful for their care and kindness. The medical team has shared that Aylen's voice is improving and that she has made significant progress in her cleft treatment. Aylen now feels happier and more cheerful, and her friends and family feel joy and pride in her achievements. Inspired by her journey, she encourages other children starting their cleft care to stay positive and hopeful. Looking to the future, Aylen dreams of becoming a veterinarian because of her special love for dogs, cats, fish, cows, and horses.
