Tungaloy was founded in Japan in 1929 and was the first Japanese company to develop cemented carbide. In 2008, Berkshire Hathaway purchased the company and became a member of The IMC Group. Since our inclusion, massive investment has been pledged into R&D to develop some of the industry’s leading turning, grooving, milling, and drilling products, helping manufacturing companies in a wide variety of industries increase their productivity and reduce tooling costs.
