Great to meet so many passionate people driving positive change in our city as part of the #BetterBristol initiative. ⭐Bristol Waste Company is doing amazing work keeping our streets clean and recycling efforts up. Well done Sarah Burns 👏 ⭐Talk Club provides a safe space for men to talk openly about their mental health – an inspiring project that's making a real difference. AI Video 2023 vs 2024 🤯 Feeling worried that Artificial Intelligence might be coming to take our jobs? I'm watching it very closely. The creative industry is definitely being affected by AI. But should we be worried? #AI is advancing fast, and sometimes it gets weird like the viral video of “Will Smith” devouring spaghetti. Courtesy of Just a Happy Troll, and Shutterstuck we have AI from just last year compared to this year... where is looks far more realistic! Look at this video comparing 2023’s bizarre Will Smith to a far more realistic 2024 version... _ Did it get you too? I watched this and thought it was real for a moment 😂 , and it might have got you too. It’s a joke (Will was in on it, recreating the famous clip), but the way AI is heading, we might see this level of realism soon. Some of the platforms are offering really impressive #video but they all have their limitations, and they all still need a 'human in the loop' to create something that isn't utterly bizarre, like Will Smith eating spaghetti from 2023. While AI is super impressive, it's also a little untrustworthy and nonsensical when it comes to the creative domain. You never really know what you're going to get with it (at the moment). I had a great time listening to and learning from the amazing speakers at Tech4Good South West's event. The thought of harnessing #technology for social good excites me, and seeing people doing just that is really inspiring. We at Tusko had the pleasure of collaborating with Tech4Good South West, capturing this incredible event on film. The event was titled "Tech for Good Journeys in AI", and with #AI being the buzzword of this year we were keen to hear from the speakers. Key highlights included: 🎤 Simon Allen FRSA, CEO of Age UK Bath & North East Somerset, introduced The Charity Navigator GPT, revolutionising charity guidance across the UK. 🎤 Jim Cranshaw, Founder of Grants AI, showcased how his platform simplifies the grant application process for charities. 🎤 Cat Fraser, Founder of Lab of Lived Experience, explored the role of AI in global health, highlighting its impact on medical abandonment. 🎤 Graham Ratcliffe, Co-Founder of Fueld .ai, discussed enhancing health outcomes through AI and advanced sensors. A big thank you to these visionary speakers and the Tech4Good team for a truly inspirational event. Google’s almost 26 years young. Even at this young age, clearly it's the titan of the search game. I love this #ad they made, which built on previous years #films celebrating their birthday. But here we are, 2024. Almost a year since Google’s anniversary video, and ChatGPT’s the new kid on the block, fielding over a billion queries a month. The only good commercial I've seen so far for ChatGPT is the Mint Mobile ad featuring Ryan Reynolds 😂 Maybe there are others. So the big #tech companies still use video to talk about their services. No wonder. It pulls 1200% more shares than text and images combined. Stories and visual stick in a way like nothing else. Our brains devour stories 22 times more than cold, hard facts. So, at 26, will we see Google say goodbye in the face of ChatGPT, or evolve? What’s next for videos showing increasing AI products? Will they be poetic, robotic, or just plain bonkers? Happy belated 25th, Google. Looking forward to your next ad...Things are about to get interesting. PS. Re this video... Google - well played on the copyright front!
