Eugen Ciachir and I are super proud of a Twist 2.0. We hope you like it 😬 Getting to this point has been a path of discovery and grind. A few thoughts 🎲 **Driving a Rebrand:** I didn’t realise how much this meant to me, until we starting workshopping the small stuff and in reality, losing what has been the face of our business for the entirety of its success so far. What if we f*** it up? Never: we’ve merged our aesthetics thoughtfully, we've created a bold, unified identity that mirrors our collaborative spirit and drives the business forward. I’m more excited about Twist now, than ever before and that it saying something! 🧙♂️ **Respecting Eugen's Design:** I’ve witnessed firsthand the respect and professionalism that Eugen brings to the table with his design approach. Our lucky clients receive this exceptional treatment, working directly with a lead designer, who understands their needs, intimately. Our redesign project has thrived under his meticulous attention to detail and creative flair, which has hit the brief, brilliantly. 🥸 **Embracing Imposter Syndrome:** Imposter syndrome, in my view, can be a powerful motivator. Over the past month, I've contributed my opinions, offered direction, and been empowered to envision our business's future. I’m not a designer - I’m a business woman, with a keen eye and a passion for start ups. Trusting my gut has emboldened me to pursue a vision that's authentically ours. With this confidence and clarity, we've introduced Twist 2.0, an anti-agency agency that supports the startup ecosystem without draining its limited resources. We're winning by empowering the underdogs and doing it with a triumphant, confident spirit. In January, Twist joined forces with our long standing freelance Senior Product Designer, Eugen Ciachir and as a result, we have embarked on a new journey. One where we’ve had to: 🧭 Navigate having two fiery Scorpios leading in our business 💪 Empower ourselves and each other to play to our strengths 🐣 Decide what our rebirthed designer design baby is going to look like And we've had to do all of this while, rebranding, repositioning, redesigning our website, deciding on our new offering and thinking about how we represent both of our vibes in our business. In some ways we are similar but in others very different. We are still a #techfounderfriendly, #subscriptionmodel, #techstartup focused anti-agency agency but we’ve decided to #buildinpublic our new brand and proposition. Here’s a sneak peak…

💯 We are holding ourselves accountable - for real life this time. It's our fault - sorry for the delay. 😵💫 Priority number one, family...no wait, work commitments...no, wait our new #websitedesign and #framerbuild, no wait, the client's website...or is it, my husband's London launch, no wait, definitely the kids or was it the clients' new #brandidentity. OMG, hang on a minute. ALL OF THE ABOVE. 🤣 To recap... Last month, I flew to Bucharest, leaving my kids for four days, to sit down with Eugen Ciachir and I promised myself that I wouldn't let anything get in the way of our new website, new vibe and new proposition. Guess what, yeah it did - No sh** Sherlock. Oh how naive - whilst in Romania, all these things got bumped to the top of the list - why did I think it would be different, back in sunny Bournemouth. 🤗 In hindsight, I'm glad we didn't just get it done. As directors, at an anti-agency agency, we switch between multiple problems (on a task by task basis), creative briefs and products, types of clients, and to be frank, sometimes, once we get to ours, we are all juice out. We always prioritise our client's work/needs (obvs) and push ours down the list. After 2 years in business, what business owner wouldn't? 🙌 Now...yet again, Eugen’s patience and product design experience leads to reflection and introspection: - revisited the brief - looked at our vision for the business and brand - asking why are we making these changes 💡 realising I needed to see it mocked up, he created a template in framer applied what he believed was the direction we should go in, and voila....I am one happy customer and I can now see the wood for the trees/kids/launches/clients/competitors/my own ego "Let's do it!" 🚀 We are ready to do this! - and to make sure we don't drop the ball again, we are going to #buildinpublic. We are putting it all out there. No stalling...Just doing.
