First up 👇 🤔 What is a Net Zero Carbon Aligned Building? A #netzero aligned building is one whose #operational and #embodiedcarbon performance is within limits which allow the UK #builtenvironment to stay within its own allocation of remaining #carbonbudget, in order to limit warming to 1.5°C. WHAT ARE THE ANNEXES? 🧐 The #UKNetZeroCarbonBuildingsStandard Pilot Version includes several Annexes which provide more detail on how to meet the Standard 👇 Annex A | 📉 Limits and Targets: provides the numerical limits and targets required for buildings to meet the #UKNZCBS. The limits vary depending on factors such as building type, construction works, timing, and sector. Annex B | 📋 Submission Proforma: to be used for submitting numerical evidence to show that you have met the Standard's requirements. Annex C | ⚖️ Principles of Equivalence: explains how other building standards and certification schemes can demonstrate alignment with the #UKNZCBS. Annex D | 🤝 Roles and Responsibilities: provides guidance outlining the roles and responsibilities needed to implement the Standard on a project.
