This World Sight Day 2024, join Orbis UK in celebrating glasses-wearing heroes! Our latest video features iconic characters who proudly wear their glasses to see the change they want to make for a brighter future. Wearing glasses and eye care have sometimes been stigmatised in school and social settings. But by celebrating how glasses form a central part of the identity of these heroes, we can encourage children to feel confident in their eye care. While we celebrate these characters, we also want to highlight how millions of children today still don’t have access to the basic eye care they need. Whether giving a pair of glasses or a treatment for a blinding eye condition, our vision is a world where every child, and adult, has the access to the eye care they need to thrive. 👉 Learn more about how you can get involved and help make eye care accessible for everybody, everywhere: https://lnkd.in/e4HgEXVB #WorldSightDay #OrbisUK #EyeCareForAll #LoveYourEyes #teachers
