We recently held our first Men's Health and Cancer Awareness Day at ULCCO SP. As part of this day, we had the pleasure of hosting Catie Worrall who is a Cancer and Palliative Care Coordinator at Central Liverpool Primary Care Network, and Tony Collier BEM who is an ambassador, awareness speaker, volunteer and fundraiser for Prostate Cancer UK. We also had the "Living Well Bus" on site, offering health advice and health checks to staff. Catie and Tony were both onsite to deliver talks and provide advice around cancers and men's health throughout the day, with Tony giving a talk on his own personal journey with prostate cancer and Catie giving a talk on cancer awareness; offering advice on signs and symptoms of cancer, as well as demonstrating testicular self-examinations. It was great to see so many of our staff, and site staff get involved during this important awareness day and on behalf of all at ULCCO SP, we would like to thank Tony and Catie for their time in doing this and for answering any questions that the team had.
