SALARY: £38,273 - £45,611 HOLIDAYS: Up to 43 days Ulster University is seeking a CTC Operations Officer for our School of Nursing & Paramedic Science. One of only five in the UK and the only one in Northern Ireland, Ulster University’s The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Competence Test Centre (CTC) was established in 2017 and has recently relocated to new premises. The CTC tests candidates’ skills, knowledge, and behaviours in a simulated practice environment. This is the final test that candidates must pass in order to gain registration as a nurse, midwife or nursing associate in the UK. Work to date has already helped to alleviate pressures on the health sector by testing thousands of Nurses who are now working in healthcare settings across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The CTC Operations Officer will contribute significantly to the development and delivery of the CTC’s strategic, commercial, and operational objectives as well as the management of financial, administrative, and physical resources within the Centre. They will also contribute significantly to the provision of high quality candidate services.
