For anyone looking to launch a new tech feature/product, here’s HOW NOT to do it from someone who has already made a fair few mistakes 🫠👇 Today, we launch Ummazing 3.0 and its been a long ol’ process to get this over the line! So here’s what NOT to do when launching your product or feature: 👉 Don’t think that every deadline you set will be met EASILY - trust me, its a trap. There are things waiting to delay you no matter how well prepared you are so give yourself some margin for error and credit for getting it over the line at all! 👉 Don’t not ask your users what features they’d like improved and just speed on ahead with what you think is important, because nobody knows your product like you right? WRONG. We constantly speak to people on our platform and as a result, we improved: ✅ Speed is lightening fast! Loads MUCH quicker! ✅ Sign up process is WAAAAY easier! ✅ More categories are open! And if you’re a Muslim or Muslim-friendly business? I’d definitely say DON’T not sign up to the new Ummazing and share with your friends and family, that would be a real rookie mistake! Ummazing 3.0 is right around the corner and with it some big things are being launched... The biggest is a Ramadan Race which has two elements attached: 1. A Real-Time Leaderboard - Where businesses can compete with one another to rank #1 in their respective category. There are 5 main ways businesses can gain points (these are laid out below). 2. Charity Component - Where a business can set a pledge and set an amount each upvote is worth and the business gives that in Sadaqah during this blessed month. Say a business pledges to donate £1,500 and they set each upvote to £1.50. If a business now gets 150 upvotes, the business will donate £225. Who's excited for the Ramadan Race? Because we sure are!
