We are absolutely delighted to be able to announce that we have now totaled up all the funds raised for The Unbeatable Eva Foundation at our Evening with Bryan Robson night 2 weeks ago at Maesgwyn Hall Wrexham ⭐After all costs, we were able to raise an incredible £4,100!!!⭐ All of that goes towards supporting children with DIPG – a rare, terminal, and devastating childhood brain cancer which affects on average 1 child every 9 days here in the UK. We want to thank Richard Watkin and all of his team at MaesGwyn. A huge thanks to Matthew Carroll for providing some great musical entertainment on the night. Thanks to Kev DJ from The Parish Wrexham for providing the sound systems and electronics. Big thanks to the sponsors on the night: Opus Utility Solutions EE Plumbing, Heating & Renewable Energy. Adapt Recruitment We were very fortunate to have Manchester United and England LEGEND Bryan Robson, who was brilliant, and Alan Keegan - The Voice Of Old Trafford, who couldn’t have hosted any better! Lastly, and most importantly, we want to thank each and every single person who came to the event. It was the first time we had attempted one of these evenings (first of hopefully many in the future), and we were blown away by the support. It is you that made it possible to run the evening, and it is you that now help us to continue to support children, and families, who are going through the worst journey imaginable. 💜💜💜

Here we go… Three words football supporters all look forward to over the summer transfer window! Well, this one is no different as we are delighted to announce the signing of Manchester United and England legend, Bryan Robson. On 14th September, the Maesgwyn Hall Wrexham will be hosting an evening with Bryan Robson, raising money for The Unbeatable Eva Foundation, supporting children affected by childhood cancer. September is childhood cancer awareness month 🎗 , so we are delighted to have the support of Bryan and the team behind the Maesgwyn, and we hope to see a great turnout. Tickets for the event are £35 per person and can be purchased at the following link: https://lnkd.in/ee7DJVQV If you’d like to purchase a table of 10, please send us a direct message, and we can arrange that for you.

This year, Gresford Craft Group held their 41st annual exhibition, showcasing the work of their members and local talent, who produce incredible handmade craft items. Each year, the club selects 3 charities to support alongside their main charitable foundations, and we were delighted that The Unbeatable Eva Foundation was nominated as one of their charities for 2024. The annual craft exhibition takes a significant amount of work to put together, and all of the profits from the event are donated to the various charities which have been nominated. We were absolutely thrilled to receive a cheque for £600, and wanted to thank Val Shields, Susan Hill, and all the members of the craft club for making this happen. As we sent out more giftboxes this week to children with DIPG, this serves as a reminder that without this support, we wouldn’t be able to continue to help and support children and families affected by DIPG. Every DIPG diagnosis is terminal, so through our gifts and experiences, we help families to make precious memories with their loved ones which will last forever. #dipg #childhoodcancer #charity #childhoodcancersupport #cancer

🎁 🎁 Fully prepped and ready to go! Last week, we had a referral for a young girl recently diagnosed with DIPG - simply devastating for her and her family. By supporting The Unbeatable Eva Foundation, you help to provide a temporary moment of relief for families who are going through absolute hell. We cannot stress enough how much of a difference that makes. Gifts may seem like a small gesture, but they provide a period of enjoyment and happiness at a time where there is nothing but darkness, and we know first hand that those memories remain forever. Thank you as well to Young Lives vs Cancer for the referral, and for helping us to do what we do for these children. #DIPG #childhoodcancer #charity

Supporting small charities is incredibly important. Some facts: 💰 In 2023, less than 2% of cancer research funds were spent on Brain cancer 🧠 Brain cancer accounts for 30% of cancer related deaths in children ❗ DIPG accounts for roughly 80% of deaths in children with Brain cancer 💔 DIPG is terminal. Period. Always. Supporting small charities who drive towards a specific cause is important because without these efforts, 'rare' cancers simply get left behind. A huge thank you to Entyce Creative | B Corp™ who recently ran a Euro 2024 competition to raise funds for The Unbeatable Eva Foundation, to support us in providing children and families affected by DIPG with incredible gifts and experiences, to help them to make prescious memories. One day, we hope to help fund a treatment option which gives children hope. If you can do your bit and support, please do. #childhoodcancer #charity #cancer #DIPG

Blessed to wake up to the love of 4 incredible children (and one awesome wife) today, but heartbroken 💔 more than ever that my biggest girl isn’t here. Days like Father’s Day are extra hard when there is such a big hole that can never be filled. Hug your kids extra tight today dads. 💜 🎗
