We recently welcomed our first cohort of work experience students in partnership with Uptree, to support young talent and promote diversity across the real estate industry. During the three-day programme at our Warwick Street office, students engaged in an apprenticeship panel, insightful shadowing sessions, a CV and interview workshop, and a session on presenting and building personal brand. We held an engaging session with our META Real Estate team. The team shared insights into the significance of real estate within META and encouraged students to get involved by designing buildings to effectively address climate changes and challenged themselves to focus on the importance of social value. Given the success of this year’s programme, we are looking ahead to expand next year’s cohort by providing the opportunity to students from different regions across the UK to enrich the experiences of our future workforce.

🎉 Unleashing potential: Real Estate Longer Work Placement with JLL! 🏢 We had an incredible time hosting a 3-day Real Estate Longer Work Placement with JLL, welcoming 10 enthusiastic participants ready to dive into the dynamic world of real estate. Packed with learning, growth, and inspiration, here’s a sneak peek into their journey: 🌟 An engaging introduction to JLL, where participants discovered their mission, values, and the groundbreaking projects they are leading on in the real estate sector. 🧠 Participants delved into understanding their thinking preferences, exploring the diverse cognitive styles and how they contribute to effective teamwork and problem-solving. 👥 Networking with current apprentices, the group gained valuable insights into their experiences, challenges, and successes, learning firsthand what it takes to thrive in the industry. 💼 JLL experts shared strategies on crafting a compelling personal brand, equipping participants with the tools to stand out in the competitive job market. 👨💼 Participants shadowed JLL professionals, gaining practical experience and a real-world understanding of various roles within the company. This exposure was invaluable in shaping their career perspectives. 🤝 A special visit from one of JLL’s esteemed partners added an extra layer of insight, sharing industry trends, career advice, and the importance of building strong professional networks. We’re thrilled to have had such an enthusiastic group join us and hope this experience has ignited a passion for real estate in each participant.
