Our Office Manager, Nicola swapped roles last week from providing administrative and technical support to our team of Surveyors and Architects, to taking part in the Pickleball English Open tournament in Telford. More than 2000 players participated from 42 countries in various age groups and categories. Nicola competed in the 4.0 35+ doubles category and after five matches in the round robin, advanced to the semi-finals and secured her place in the final with a thrilling, close fought final match securing the gold medal, winning 2-1, with her partner Laura Yeomans. Urban Surveying & Design could not be prouder of Nicola, former tennis coach who only took up Pickleball two years ago, thus being her first major tournament. #pickleballengland #pickleball #architecture #surveying
