We are proud to be working with Holiday Inn in Telford to boost recycling and preserve natural resources. Within our 12-month partnership, over 59,000kg of material, including cardboard, glass and other mixed recyclates have been collected. By recycling and redirecting the collected materials from general waste streams, this site alone has saved a staggering 5,895kg of CO2. To further support the smooth running of operations and take the hassle out of recycling, we’ve also introduced a new portable compactor – the compactor reduces costs and collection frequency by doubling the amount of material that can be housed in one area. We’re thrilled to be extending this partnership for a further 3 years, and we can’t wait to continue working with Holiday Inn to drive ecological transformation. #Recycling #EcologicalTransformation

We’ve been working in partnership with P&O Ferries for the past 20 years, in which time the recycling and waste industry has changed immensely. Just think how your own recycling and waste habits have changed over the last two decades and you can imagine how waste management has evolved for businesses in that time! We’ve helped P&O achieve a 50% recycling rate and introduced hard-to-recycle material streams like coffee cups and textiles, helping them evolve their approach to regenerating resources. Our Industrial Site Services team in Scotland have recently welcomed four new faces, in the form of new 32,000 litre tankers as well as smaller rigid units, to meet our customers' high volume tankering requirements. The tankers meet ADR specifications and can remove solids, sludges, liquids and more from both hazardous and non-hazardous environments, reducing manual handling requirements for staff on-site and handling material safely and efficiently. Alongside the existing fleet of jet vacuum and liquid ring tankers, the new equipment will enhance our capability to take on jobs of any size and scope - improving customers' on-site safety as we take care of their tankering requirements. We’re proud to be working with our partners across the public and private sectors to support NHS Property Services Ltd on their NHS Greenspaces Programme. Working alongside Tesco, we’re delivering innovative solutions to take carbon-rich materials such as soft plastics like bread bags, out of the waste stream, transforming them into sustainable lumber. This will be used to build accessible furniture and planters, decking and fencing in social prescribing gardens across the country, curated by our charity partner Groundwork. Our enduring partnership with the NHS has already delivered groundbreaking energy and decarbonisation projects so we’re delighted to see this regeneration of resources support the sustainability of healthcare, with the gardens providing spaces for communities to improve their health and wellbeing.
