This might be the best out of office reply…

View profile for Scott Samir Zaari, graphic

    Veterinary Director, Veterinarians Without Borders

After 10+ years as a veterinarian, this is my best out-of-office reply! 🏆 "Thank you for your email. I am currently traveling for our Veterinarians Without Borders community programming in Gjoa Haven, Nunavut, and will be back in the office on September 11th." Excited to be on the ground working alongside an amazing team to support community animal health. I’ll have some great stories and insights to share when I’m back! 💭 Ever Wondered How Vets Transition to Roles in Patient Safety? Our community members are often intrigued about how you get to work within the VDS and it's easy to forget that there are veterinary professionals working there outside of their insurance arm - from patient safety (Emma Cathcart and Russell Roan) to research and data analytics (Dr. Freya Rooke) to communication (Ruth Serlin). As well as veterinary professionals in the membership team (Emma Callaghan and Sophie Lawson) to coaching and training too (Carolyne Crowe)! Join us for the panel discussion with vets Emma Cathcart, Russell Roan and Catherine Oxtoby on world patient safety day (17th September) and presubmit your questions ahead of time! Stay after for a networking session to connect with other veterinary professionals and industry leaders like Catherine Oxtoby. See you there! Spread the word :)
