It was Groucho Marx who said "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies". And in a comment piece for Daily Business, it's Vialex founder and CEO, Keith Anderson who says "hopefully, not this time". Wondering if there has ever been as much apprehension over a budget, he suggests that whatever the Chancellor is considering in the way of tax and spending, business growth must be encouraged and not stifled. Seeing the economic and societal contribution of entrepreneurs and risk takers as vital, he asks where we would be without them, and questions how without the ability of entrepreneurialism to flourish and deliver a thriving, dynamic private sector, we will be able to raise the much needed taxes to fund the public services so needed, and expected. Well done to all the participants of all leg numbers and lengths! A great way to raise money for our charity partner Fresh Start (Scotland). Link below if you'd like to support with a donation.
A team from Vialex took part in the Kiltwalk on Sunday (the 5k Wee Wander), raising funds for #FreshStart. It was a great day and good achievement for those of us with shorter legs. If you would like to show your support for this great Edinburgh-based charity which helps people moving on from homlessness by providing the essential they need please donate to our fundraising page: https://lnkd.in/eR7NdBgn

Delighted to be sponsoring the Edinburgh Charity Touch Rugby Tournament again this year - a fun event with fundraising at its core. All donations and wider sharing of the Just Giving page link gratefully accepted, with all funds raised going directly to Wooden Spoon Scotland - the children's charity of rugby.
With less than 3 weeks to go to this year's Edinburgh Charity Touch Rugby Tournament, I am delighted to launch this fundraising page. All funds generated by the event will be donated to Wooden Spoon Scotland - the children's charity of rugby and I am hopeful that participants and supporters (or simply those in my extended network) might feel an irresistible urge to donate personally or corporately. Mony a mickle maks a muckle. With special thanks to: our teams who are taking time out of their busy schedules to take part, our volunteer refs, our hosts, Edinburgh Accies RFC and our co-sponsors Vialex and LGT Wealth Management and a big shout out to my colleague Kate Hunter and touch guru, Viki Mendelssohn, without whose work and input this would almost certainly be an unmitigated disaster! After last year's successful launch event, we are delighted to be doing it all again together with our co-sponsors, LGT Wealth Management. Enjoyed by all last year and raising £8k+ in the process for Wooden Spoon Scotland - the children's charity of rugby.
Following the success of last year's inaugural event, the Edinburgh charity touch rugby tournament is back again, raising money for Wooden Spoon Scotland! A small number of spaces are still available. A great way to get colleagues of all ages and abilities working and playing together. With thanks to our sponsors Vialex and LGT Wealth Management 🏉
