⭐Welcome back to our ‘Meet the Team’ feature series⭐ In this regular insight, we want to shine a light on our wonderful team so you can get to know us better. And in this week’s edition we would like to introduce you to Mike Williams! Mike is the Business Development Manager for the south of England at Vision Techniques and started with us towards the end of September. When he is not building relationships with customers both face to face and virtually and championing Vision Techniques, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, his wife and two boys. He also loves to spend a lot of his time at Chatham Town Football Club who are currently in the Isthmian Premier League. He not only supports them but also manages and coaches the U14s team which his oldest son plays for. We asked Mike some quick fire questions to find out even more about him: · How do you spend your weekends, any hobbies? Watching and coaching at Chatham Town FC but we also spend a lot of time with friends and family and do lots of entertaining at home and love a game of cards/board games together. I also enjoy going to live gigs/concerts. · What do you enjoy most about your role at VT? Liaising with a range of different people on a daily basis, being part of a great team with supportive management and being able to manage my own area. · Coffee or tea? Not really a fan of either, more a juice and water man · Early bird or night owl? Night Owl · What three emojis would you say describe you best? ⚽️ 🎼 🤣 Football, love of music and happy and cheery person · If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be? Rocky Balboa or Jay Gatsby · If you could only eat one cuisine for the rest of your life, what would it be? Turkish Kebab or Indian curry! #VisionTechniques #Meettheteam #Vehiclesafetyandsecurity

As the Scotland area manager it’s always nice to step onsite and see our engineers hard at work installing our state of the art vehicle safety equipment. Here we see Mike Paul installing a 3 camera system and trailer connection alongside Braksafe for a customer of ours. Vision Techniques UK Ltd

Our VT Brakesafe System is our fail-safe automatic braking system 🚛 Should the driver exit the cab without applying the vehicle park brake, Brakesafe automatically does so on their behalf, eliminating the risk of a vehicle runaway. The award-winning system offers instant protection, an audible alarm and protects your company’s reputation 🎉 To find out more about the system, go to: https://lnkd.in/eFSV2dZj #VisionTechniques #VTBrakesafeSystem #Automaticbrakingsystem #Vehiclerunaway #Brakesafe #MadeinBritain

London’s world-leading Direct Vision Standard (DVS) is helping to significantly improve lorry safety in the capital. It’s already saving the lives of vulnerable road users. However, even one death or serious injury on our roads is one too many, which is why we are working with London Councils and industry to further strengthen the DVS to ensure lorries operating on London’s roads are even safer. https://lnkd.in/esEmCEDG

Yesterday one of our engineers Mike Paul sent me this image of a customers vehicle that they had just bought, it was already fitted with a camera system(not one of ours)unfortunately we see this kind of install daily, substandard work from so called experts, throwing equipment in and walking away. I really do not get the mind set of someone that walks away from this thinking it’s a good job. For comparison, right image is our install, what Mike found, left image.
