🤩 Celebrating Growth! With indoor and outdoor venues, Lincolnshire has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment. In recent years the new summer concerts at Lincoln Castle have introduced new visitors to the city as well as being enjoyed by locals - and concert goers have a significant effect on the city's visitor economy. 🎶 ✅ During last year's events our hotels were reporting increases in occupancy and room rates, and the footfall in the city was boosted tremendously - with some areas up over 200% on the week before the concerts! Research shows that up to 1 in 3 concert attendees are 'Music Tourists' who travel to destinations to stay over night and spend more than traditional tourist sectors. What a great way to welcome new visitors to Lincoln and encourage them to enjoy the wider county whilst they are here 🗺️ #EnglishTourismWeek25 Lincolnshire County Council Business Lincolnshire Cuffe and Taylor Productions Kimberley Vickers, CMgr FCMI Lincoln Castle

A couple of days into #EnglishTourismWeek25 and time to celebrate our vitally important Great Lincolnshire visitor economy and the hardworking, dedicated service providers who ensure our visitors enjoy their time here - and keep coming back for more! 💷 The Greater Lincolnshire visitor economy is worth £2.92billion per annum, 👨👩👧👧 attracts 32.3million visits each year, 👩🍳 and employs the equivalent of 30,000 FTEs.

Yesterday we were delighted to partner with Keal Productions, South Kesteven District Council SKDC and our colleagues at Business Lincolnshire to host the 3rd Creative Collective event for Lincolnshire screen industries and LocationLincs. We were joined by professionals from TV, Film, and Visitor Economy to explore the potential for bringing more filming to the county - plus discuss how important these productions are to put Lincolnshire on the silver screen and attract more visitors. We also included a spotlight on the district of South Kesteven, and the historic homes that have been locations for many period dramas over the years. It was a fantastic event, as always full of enthusiasm, and a special thanks goes to our 2 panels of speakers from University of Lincoln, Burghley House, Grimsthorpe & Drummond Castle Trust Ltd, Jake Carder, Rachel Scarrott, Jack Shelbourn, Heather Greenwood, Hayley Toyne, MTMI, Lucie VonCarthy ✅

⚡ Tomorrow is the North Lincolnshire Tourism Partnership meeting - and we're looking forward to catching up with Janine and her team, and hearing about all things 'bookable experience' with Unmissable England! Our Experience Maker Toolkit, that Chris from Unmissable England pulled together for us is a really useful resource that complements North Lincolnshire's recent workshops. 'Experiences' are increasingly important to visitors when planning a break - and its great to see more becoming available in the county 👏
