About us
The Water Hygiene Centre was established in 2009 to address the lack of independent consultancy within the industry. Since then we have established ourselves as a market leader and have steadily grown, helping clients identify and minimise the risk of waterborne contamination and disease, whilst improving compliance performance. We are proud to have developed a reputation based on our independence from vested interest and the high quality of service provided to our clients. The Water Hygiene Centre has a wealth of experienced, qualified and dedicated consultants with over 60 years’ experience, all of which offer unbiased advice and support based on their individual and collective experiences from within the team. As a company we aim to establish long term relationships with our clients providing them with continuity and assurance of expert risk management solutions for water hygiene and legionnaires disease. Inevitably this has led to a convergence of our business culture and ethos with that of our clients.

Legionella & School Holidays – What Should I Do? As we head towards the half-term holidays for many schools, academies, and colleges, I wanted to share some important information to help you reduce the risk of Legionella during vacation periods. During extended vacation periods, when buildings are left largely unoccupied, the risk of Legionella bacteria growth in water systems can increase significantly. This is due to factors such as reduced water usage, stagnation, and potential temperature fluctuations. Maintaining proper water circulation is crucial to prevent stagnation and the potential growth of harmful bacteria, such as Legionella. In this blog, we look at: - Legionella Risks in Schools, Colleges and Universities - Stagnant Water - Biofilm - HSG274 - Legionella Flushing Regimes https://lnkd.in/dZXAmkhY #educationalleadership #Education #Legionella
