Loss is never easy, we are here to support you. For over 160 years, Wathall’s Funeral Directors have guided the bereaved families of Derby and surrounding areas through the loss of a loved one. From the moment your loved one enters our care, we promise to treat them, and you, with the dignity deserved.     🌸 Week in the life of Amanda Howitt 🌸 Amanda Howitt is the branch manager at Allestree and has worked for Wathall’s since 2020, initially training at our Derby and Borrowash branches, before stepping into the branch manager role on the day Allestree opened. Amanda has a wealth of knowledge from her previous roles as well as a fresh perspective, some amazing organisational skills and the care and compassion required to work at Wathall’s. https://lnkd.in/eaPwWqGZ

    Team Wathall’s – Celebrating Long Service This week Frank Rigby is celebrating 43 years here at Wathall’s, making him our longest-serving staff member in the business today. Wathall's wouldn't be the same without Frank, and we thank him for his dedication. You can learn more about Frank’s role with us here https://lnkd.in/eKMH_EsA We are also happy to celebrate Wendy Booth’s 43rd year; although now retired, Wendy still helps support the bereavement team, using her experience and warmth to help people come to terms with their loss. Our team is what makes us who we are, and we are proud to share the following Team Wathall’s facts: • We have more than 389 years of experience across the whole company. • Our employees have an average of 10 years experience each. • Our team ranges from 19 to 73 years old. • We are proud that we have 3 employees with over 30 years experience, including Frank, Helen Wathall MBE and Mark Hodgson. • We also have a great gender balance with the team being 53% male and 47% female. We’re very proud of our wonderful team, and are grateful to each of them for the support they give to the families we care for.
