Sometimes we don't always get it on the first take... 👀 All jokes aside, I had the best time at Sopwell House this week! Thanks to the fabulous eTail Connect Autumn Team for letting me tag along and encourage (force?) our brilliant speakers to come chat to me on camera. These past couple weeks have been an absolute whirlwind coming back from filming content in Barcelona for ProcureCon Europe Series and now back where it all started at eTail Connect. 💫 You never know how a new idea will work out, and in February, when we decided to try on-site filming, we had no idea how what that would look like, let alone if people would even want to chat with us. But here we are six events later, with however many thousand LinkedIn impressions under our belt… And I am so proud of the work we have been doing! 🫶 In honour of that, please enjoy our first-ever blooper reel from eTail Connect Autumn to show you that sometimes things go slightly haywire, and that’s part of the fun! featuring Jess Sultana, Eve Lewin, James Ferrari, Joshua Lloyd-Braiden and Krizia C. Where to next? Disclaimer*** no one was hurt in the making of this video (Except maybe my badge…)

Portfolio Lead - LogiPharma - The World'd Leading Life Sciences Supply Chain Event

With LogiPharma 4.0 Connect just over two months away, I have been taking a look at the top investment areas for primary attendees. We're witnessing some clear investment trends as companies gear up to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving supply chain and pharma sectors. Here are the results:   𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟱: 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 & 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (74%) 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 (74%) 𝗜𝗕𝗣, 𝗦&𝗢𝗣 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (58%) 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (58%) 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 (50%)   As you can see, the focus is heavily on data-driven insights, AI-powered decision-making, and the enhanced integration of supply chain tools. But that’s not all. Other key areas are also gaining attention, including:   𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (48%) 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻 (45%) 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (44%) 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 & 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (44%) 𝟯𝗣𝗟𝘀 (40%) These numbers, whilst still high-investment areas, highlight a strong emphasis on driving operational efficiency, improving predictability, and adopting cutting-edge technologies to optimise logistics and supply chain functions. I am really looking forward to discussing these topics further this November, and see how our attendees are investing in these areas of life sciences supply chains.   Click here to find out more about LogiPharma Connect: https://lnkd.in/e9UG5pEb

It's no surprise that 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 was a major theme at ProcureCon Marketing in London this June. From casual conversations to packed conference sessions, it was clear that procurement leaders are increasingly aware of their responsibility to protect future generations. And the WBR Insights - Procurement team were there in the thick of it, playing our ever-popular Overhyped, Underhyped, or Just Hyped game to unpack the hottest topics in the industry - this week the spotlight is on Sustainability ♻ The general consensus? Procurement leaders are on the right track, but there's still a lot of work to do. The WBR Insights - Capital Markets team recently returned from Fixed Income Leaders Summit USA in Boston. Now, reflecting on the past week, we're here to share the hottest topics that dominated conversations throughout the conference.   The focus on building high-performing, cross-generational trading teams emerged as a key theme right from the start. The Head of Trading Think Tank session offered practical advice on fostering a collaborative environment that bridges the experience gap. This theme resonated throughout the conference, as technology's growing influence in fixed income trading was another major point of discussion.   The Buy-Side Wish List Panel tackled the ever-present challenge of maximising the return on technology investments, while sessions on Automation, Digital Transformation, and Data Analytics provided attendees with actionable insights and strategies for streamlining workflows and leveraging data effectively.   The future of the market itself was a constant source of curiosity. Keynotes explored the global investment outlook and the evolving landscape of bond trading, with a particular focus on the credit market. Panels dug into pressing issues like navigating fragmented liquidity and building efficient market structures. Exclusive workshops on UST & Repo Market Structure Changes and the future of DLT offered a glimpse into the potential disruptions and innovations that lie ahead.   Portfolio strategies in a volatile market environment were another hot topic. Sessions explored how to adapt to factors like policy changes, geopolitical shifts, and bond market volatility. Attendees also grappled with integrating ESG considerations into investment decisions and debated the merits of data-driven, systematic approaches versus traditional fundamental analysis.   The final day offered a mix of forward-looking discussions and insightful commentary on the current economic climate. The impact of policy initiatives on market structure, financial risk, and digital assets were all on the agenda. The conference closed with a lively debate on the evolution of private credit, highlighting the exciting opportunities it presents in today's dynamic market. "Thank you for putting on a FIRST CLASS CONFERENCE. It was a turning point around a couple of big issues in the industry" - Jim Switzer, Global Head of Municipal Trading, AllianceBernstein. This sentiment perfectly captures the energy and value found at FILS USA 2024.   Overall, FILS USA 2024 served as a vital platform for buy-side professionals to connect, learn, and share insights on the most pressing issues shaping the future of fixed income. From fostering cross-generational collaboration to harnessing the power of technology and navigating a rapidly evolving market, the conference provided valuable takeaways for all attendees.
