As it's #PensionAwarenessWeek, we thought it would be a great time to talk about why Wealthify is proud to be a Living Pension Employer. 🙌 So, what does this mean, exactly? The Living Pension standard is a savings target for companies (set by the Living Wage Foundation). Essentially, it’s there to help them ensure their employees can build up a pension that allows them to meet their basic needs in retirement. 💷 Based on the real cost of living, the standard sets out a minimum annual contribution to reach this target – and all Living Pension Employers commit to ensuring their workers have access to this. The Living Pension standard builds on the work that has already been done to ensure workers are being paid a real Living Wage – which is something we’re also committed to. 💪 We were actually one of the first to become a Living Pension Employer last year, alongside our parent company, Aviva. And now we’re one of 50 companies to hold the accreditation.
