Stop listening to horse shit hustle podcasts and listen to Samir Chaudry Colin Rosenblum I fan girl Colin and Samir A LOT, but I have yet to see anyone else get so much from their guests & then give some much amazing insight too. Not a bottle of Huel or AG-1 in sight either. Clearly the guest respect their work too. 🫰 CEO from the largest platforms being ask insanely brilliant questions. 🐐 The biggest and most interesting creators - even an off the charts BTS of Beast Games which is box office and Emma Chamberlain. 💪 Insanely researched special episodes like the potential sale of Hot Ones and the podcast election (which so many ripped their work and used it without reference). I take away so much from each show I don't get why I don't see them being praised on LinkedIn more. Side note: both lost their homes in recent LA fires which I only want them to smash more now.

STOP 🛑 blocking potential BANGERS. HOW DO YOU CULTIVATE CREATIVITY 🫣 Create the cutting room floor for your team. There is nothing worse than starting on a team and killing creativity by constantly shooting shit down. Starting with all the things YOU CAN'T TALK ABOUT can create barriers for some. Aside from the obvious no-gos, allow freedom in this space to condition ideas. Create an environment that cultivates creativity. Some brains connect the dots quickly, some need conditioning, and we all have blockers from time to time. There's no one creative process for everyone. This could be a team chat group with just you, the team and nobody else. A SAFE SPACE, if you have an idea, just get it off your chest and/or make it. It may not be quiet on brand, on strategy, or on a horse, BUT it stimulates creativity for all. The team can laugh and play, tweak it, and then naturally people start to shape ideas that could work and push creative boundaries IRL. A leader's job is to mitigate and coach, bringing closer to tov, 'the line' or, dare I say it, 'on brand.' And now you might have an energy where more people flourish. I bring this everywhere with me, simple, yes, BUT so many brands are sterile and have lost their spark.

🫣 Social & creative agencies look away 🫣. This is for brand owners and decision-makers. You tell me an agency that will come to a brand and tell them to STOP producing content or using social in a certain way, and I'll stop making memes on LinkedIn Volume of content props up this whole industry, and VERY FEW, IF ANY, will tell you to shift your content creation budget into media, creators, and community and away from production if it's the right thing to do, because that's how they make bank. The bias in the decision-making means they can't. AND the pile of 'Thought Leaders' Consultants (not US) & Freelancers spouting too it's so hard to figure anything out. Social has become one big side hustle with piss-poor strategy and biased advice, and I see it every day. This is an excerpt of a keynote(rant) about social media right now. There are a lot of specialists and agencies out there that do KILLER work, BUT I think Strategy should be treated independently and then operationalised/solutions built based on specifically what you need, AND that may mean you never make content... Frankly, that's why we're here...

Frankly, it needs another Face & Brain. Come join us. 🔗 in the comments 💬 What a great place to be growing Frankly, BUT we need the right person along with Beth Thomas and I. More importantly so I get my fingers out of the things that slow us down. We're lucky to have other behind-the-scenes building the operation, too. Tag, share, repost: mAkE iT gO vIrAl
