I can’t believe I’m writing this. After almost 8 years of trading, I’m closing down BRISC. BRISC was my first serious company. Before BRISC, I had several short-term projects to make some extra cash, but none were serious or long-term, they were just side gigs. It was also my first company in the UK and the first company that allowed me to quit my job and earn enough to live off it. Not only that, but BRISC actually also helped me thrive and fund every other venture I've embarked on over these years, so you can understand why this is a big deal for me personally. Over the past years, we've worked with many amazing companies and people around the world. I'm extremely grateful for their trust in our team – you all know who you are. ❤️ From the time when we were solely focused on wine clients and called Wild Yeast Media, until today, it's been an insanely positive learning experience. 👉 So, why close it down? Well, there's a very good reason for it. As some of you might know, I launched Proppel earlier this year. Since we launched, we've received a fantastic response from clients and candidates alike, growing faster than we could ever imagine. Two months ago we were 4 team members. Today we're 13 and counting, completely self-funded, with no outside investment. A combination of lots of hard work, knowledge of the market, and the ability to hire exceptional team members for our company and find amazing talent for our clients, allowed us to grow at this rate while maintaining our high standards. It hasn't been easy but it's been super rewarding for sure. We're now in a very strong position to continue our growth trajectory with no blockers and a team full of A-players. BRISC taught me a lot of what I know about business, but it's now time to say goodbye, to focus solely on Proppel and take it to the next level. Exciting times ahead.
