Our Exeter office recently partnered with Westward Housing Group to complete external cleaning, repairs and decorations to an older person’s living scheme in Devon. Providing added social value is embedded within the Jones Building Group culture! We are delighted to share our most recent contribution. After much customer engagement whilst attending weekly coffee mornings throughout works it was evident Peacock Place customers would benefit from an outside shelter where friends could gather regardless of the weather. Once works concluded, a bespoke pergola was built enabling customers to gather in all weather conditions. One customer commented “The Pergola is going to make such a difference to us, we will be able to come together more often both day and night” #jonesbuildinggroup

🏡 Sustainability news from Ashwater! We’re making 8 bungalows more energy efficient with new roofs, windows, doors, insulation, solar panels and improved ventilation. Energy efficiency ratings will jump from D-F to A-C! With help from our partners LCX and Taylor Lewis, we’re engaging with residents to ensure homes are warmer and more affordable. The campaign has a simple but important aim – to ensure that people who need extra support will always have a service that meets their needs Meet Jason, one of the residents at Alexandra House, Exmouth, which is one of our support services that helps to keep 23 people at a time on track for a return to successful independent living. Westward Support works to bring about changes across multiple areas of our support customers’ lives to help prevent and aid recovery from homelessness.
