Enabling standardization and interoperability in Latin America with Wi-SUN FAN. This summer, the Wi-SUN Alliance held a breakthrough event and seminar in #Brazil, where industry leaders gathered to discuss the benefits of Wi-SUN FAN 1.0 technology for #smartcity and #utilities initiatives. With Brazil embracing new technologies to improve infrastructure, it is crucial to focus on adopting global industry standards to enable the roll outs of large-scale IoT networks. #Interoperability demonstrations took place to exemplify how Wi-SUN certified devices from different companies can be seamlessly integrated as part of a broader network. The value of the Wi-SUN specifications and technology has been demonstrated through Silicon Labs’ recent ‘Wi-SUN Challenge’!
