The Wigley team had the pleasure of welcoming Jaco van Gass to Stockton House last week to celebrate his incredible success in the Paris 2024 Paralympics. Jaco, a former paratrooper who suffered life-changing injuries while serving in Afghanistan in 2009, said: “I have been overwhelmed by all the messages of congratulations I have received since returning from Paris. “But the hero’s welcome I received at Stockton House really did top the lot. Everyone at Wigley is proud to be supporting Jaco van Gass as he embarks on the first of his six Paralympic events today in Paris.   Jaco has been working with Wigley for many years, and we have supported him through several achievements, including two golds and one bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.   A former member of the Parachute Regiment, Jaco overcame numerous life-altering injuries from his service in Afghanistan to become a world champion cyclist and adventurer. He is an inspiration to us all.   Good luck Jaco!
