Key points from the chancellor Rachel Reeve's Autumn Statement below: 📍 National Insurance Contributions for employers to increase by 1.2% to 15% 📍 Business Asset Disposal Relief (Entrepreneurs Relief): Lifetime limit remains at £1 million, but rates will rise to 14% in April 2025 and 18% by 2026. 📍 Employment allowance will increase from £5,000 to £10,500 📍 Capital Gains Tax to rise by 4% on higher and lower rate 📍 Increase in the stamp duty land surcharge for second-homes by 3% (up to 5%) 📍 Inheritance Tax threshold freeze until 2030, however there are changes to BADR and APR. 📍 Corporation Tax will be capped at 25% 📍 National Living Wage for people aged 21 or older will rise by 6.7% If you have any questions on how these changes will affect you, contact us! 📞 #Autumnstatement #2024budget
