Our team delivering Spindles in Oldham have raised £4,288.75 for Maggie's Oldham by taking on Tough Mudder! 🙌 The team completed the 10-mile muddy run, beating 20+ challenging obstacles and smashing their fundraising target of £3,000. After the event, Maggie's joined us on site where we presented them with a cheque. A big thank you to our supply chain partners who donated and supported our fundraiser! 🏅 It’s not just athletes who have been going for Gold in the past fortnight! Congratulations to our framework partners Crown Commercial Service, Procurement Hub, and SCAPE, for achieving Constructing Excellence's Gold Standard. With over 2,000 public sector construction frameworks currently active, being one of the first to achieve this accolade is a fantastic achievement. The scheme verifies the claims made by framework providers and provides a measure of quality for public sector organisations who use them. It will ultimately help these organisations to improve value, reduce risk, and achieve net-zero carbon. It also demonstrates compliance with central Government policy outlined in the Construction Playbook, which is endorsed by the Cabinet Office. 🎉 Milestone reached on major medical science facility on South Coast 🎉 University Hospital Southampton NHS FT's new Aseptic Pharmacy and Sterile Service Department has been ‘topped out’. It's a key milestone for this state-of-the-art facility at Adanac Health and Innovation Campus that when open in Spring 2025 will produce critical care medication for some of the sickest patients including neonatal children and cancer patients. Funded by Macquarie Group and developed by Prime plc, the new multi-use building will feature: • An MHRA-licensed Aseptic Pharmacy manufacturing medicines for UHS and regional NHS providers • A Sterile Services Department sterilizing surgical tools for UHS • Flexible expansion space James Allen, Chief Pharmacist at UHS, highlighted the vital role of aseptic products in patient care, particularly for chemotherapy and post-surgery support. He praised the partnerships with Prime and Willmott Dixon for making this development possible.
