The business case for #diversity. Our Co-Founder Ken Janssens recently spoke with Julie Kratz from Forbes about the business case for diversity. During the interview they discussed not only that “there is a high correlation between business performance and diversity” but also how DEI work takes time. It’s difficult to move the dial particularly within the largest organisations however there are a number of organisations that they spotlighted for making positive progress: KPMG UK - arguably the most transparent and pioneering organisation in the world for #DEI reporting. Nike and Microsoft for breaking down their data by leadership role to show the gains they have made at increasing ethnic diversity and women in senior leadership roles. Julie explains that by showing the gains in representation and business performance, leaders can better understand that DEI work helps rather than hinders business.
