When our client first came to us, he was searching for better ways to manage his emotions and reduce meltdowns. Although he had previous negative experiences with therapy, he quickly found comfort in our sessions. We discussed his family and school transitions, pinpointing anxiety triggers along the way. He brought a journal to each session, tracking his progress and using moments of silence to find his voice. Thanks to our ‘Pay What You Can Afford’ model funded by the fantastic Dorset Community Foundation, he gained confidence in just 9 sessions and smoothly transitioned to group support. He discovered his voice and took control of his mental health experience. If you know someone who would benefit from our 1-1 counselling and psychotherapy service, then get in touch. We have availability to start next week at our cosy therapy spaces in Ashley Cross, Poole. 🌱 *𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯

🕊️ Changing the Narrative — It's more than just a theme for this year’s World Suicide Prevention Day, 10th September; it’s a mission we hold close to our hearts at Wired Therapy. 🕊️ We are dedicated to creating a culture where silence and stigma are replaced with openness, support, and understanding. We know that too many young people and adults struggle in the shadows, feeling isolated in their pain. It’s time for that to change. 💬 Why It Matters: Suicide doesn’t just affect individuals; it impacts families, friends, and entire communities. Young people, in particular, often face unique challenges that can lead to feelings of despair. But there’s hope. At Wired Therapy, we’re working tirelessly to offer a safe space where conversations about mental health are encouraged, and where asking for help is met with compassion and understanding. For us, every day is Suicide Prevention Day. 🕯️ Light Up the Night: This #WSPD, we invite you to join us in a simple yet powerful gesture. At 8PM, light a candle to honour those we’ve lost, to support those still struggling, and to remind us all that no one has to face their challenges alone. This small act can be a beacon of hope in the darkness, showing that together, we can change the narrative. 🌱 Take the First Step: We understand that reaching out for help can be daunting, but it’s an essential move toward healing. At Wired Therapy, our mission is to make therapy accessible and affordable, ensuring that every young person and adult has the opportunity to take that first, life-changing step toward a brighter future. ✨ You’re Not Alone: Whether you’re facing challenges yourself or are concerned about someone you care about, know that help is within reach. Let’s work together to change the narrative around mental health and suicide. Reach out to us, or visit the link in our bio to learn more about how we can support you. 💛 #WorldSuicidePreventionDay #MentalHealthMatters #YouAreNotAlone #ChangeTheNarrative #WiredTherapy

We’re thrilled to share that Wired Therapy is expanding our services to include therapy for adults! 🎉 This decision has been driven by the incredible feedback we’ve received from individuals who resonate with our human approach to therapy. 🤝 Over time, we’ve seen more and more adults reaching out, drawn to the warmth, understanding, and authenticity that define our practice. It’s become clear that there’s a missing link in modern therapy, and we believe it’s that personal, human connection that makes all the difference. At Wired Therapy, we’re not just offering a service - we’re investing in the mental health of our client community. As we’ve navigated the local landscape of therapy services, we’ve learned that adults are seeking more than just clinical solutions; they’re looking for genuine human connection in their therapeutic journey. We’re here to lift the barriers and welcome those who feel aligned with our approach. Whether you’re navigating life’s challenges, seeking growth, or simply in need of a supportive space to explore your thoughts, we’re here for you. 🌱 It’s time to make therapy more accessible and human-centred for everyone. If you or someone you know could benefit from our unique approach, don’t hesitate to reach out 💬 Let’s continue to break down barriers and build a community where everyone can find the support they need. #WiredTherapy #MentalHealthMatters #TherapyForAdults #HumanApproach #InvestingInYou

Over the last year, our Wellbeing Coach, Sarah Rayment, has been partnering with the SUBU Student Advice Team through our "Wellbeing on the Beach" programme. 🌊 The dedicated advisors at SUBU face immense pressure in their roles. While they're familiar with wellbeing techniques, balancing personal wellbeing with job demands can be challenging. Recognising this, they reached out to Wired Therapy for support. 🌿 Our beach sessions provided them the chance to focus on themselves, explore how nature enhances wellbeing, and strengthen their team bond. The outcome? Reduced stress, a deeper connection to nature, and a renewed focus on self-care. Because, after all, you can't pour from an empty cup. We’re thrilled to continue this journey with the Students' Union at Bournemouth University - SUBU Student Advice Team soon! 💚 Curious about how we can support you or your team, get in touch to discuss our business wellbeing support programmes 💬 #WellbeingonTheBeach #YouCantPourFromAnEmptyCup #WiredTherapy

At Wired Therapy, we believe that quality mental health support should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial constraints. Recently, we received a heartwarming testimonial which we wanted to share 👐 This client reached out to us in urgent need of mental health support but was worried about the cost. The welcoming environment, complete with comfy seats, pillows, and blankets, played a crucial role in making each session comfortable. But it was Liz's exceptional dedication that truly stood out. Feeling triggered by the heat? You're not the only one! 🌞 Last week I shared on Instagram how I was holding space in my heart for those who are figuring out how to manage these hotter days. I was surprised by how many people the story seemed to resonate with in our community. 🤎 Whether it's exposing or covering scars, adjusting to a new body shape, or choosing to stay inside because the heat is overwhelming, these challenges are real and valid. You are seen. And you are valued. 🌱 If you or someone you know needs support in making these days more manageable, remember that Wired Therapy exists to support teenagers and young people to do just this. Refer via the link in the comments 🌿 How do you manage in the warmer weather? 🤔 #MentalHealthMatters #YouthSupport #TherapyForTeens

Thanks to our incredible partners at Dorset Community Foundation we have places available on our Pay What You Can Afford model. Individuals who need support but cannot afford the full fee can receive up to 12 therapy weekly sessions* delivered by experienced and qualified therapists 🫂. To achieve this vital goal, we continually seek funding, and the contributions we receive along with fees paid by our clients enable us to offer therapy to those who need it most.
