Last week, WMG was proud to sponsor, exhibit, and speak at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in London. The event brought together a diverse range of stakeholders from across the agri-tech supply chain, including innovative SMEs, investors, and policymakers. A key moment was our discussion with Daniel Zeichner MP, Minister of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, exploring both short and long-term challenges in the sector. This session also allowed us to present the Warwick Agri-Tech strategy and the steps we're taking to support the industry in tackling these barriers. WMG also led an insightful panel with experts from across the agri-tech space, focusing on how collaboration can reduce fragmentation and how government, policymakers, and regulators can help address sector-wide challenges. A special thanks to Jamie Dewhurst of J&A Growers, Christopher Chavasse of Muddy Machines, and Garry Myatt of PP Control and Automation for their valuable contributions. It was an inspiring two days, and WMG leaves the summit with new connections and fresh momentum to drive the future of agri-tech. WMG, University of Warwick Emilio Loo Monardez Alicia Feledziak

At WMG, we’re proud to be advancing the future of energy storage and playing a crucial role in the electrification of transport. We remain committed to collaborating with industry to push the boundaries of sustainable innovation. “For the first time, we’ve been able to use lab x-ray sources to study battery cell degradation under real operating conditions, without compromising the cell to do so,” explained Louis Piper, Professor of Battery Innovation at WMG. “This pioneering approach has enabled us to study prototype cells under conditions equivalent to driving a car on the motorway and acceleration. The information gathered means we can adapt design solutions to suppress degradation and improve battery performance and lifetime to benefit industry partners in the UK and beyond.” Read the full article! 👇 #Electrification #BatteryResearch #BatteryInnovation Melanie Loveridge Eleni Fiamegkou Nickil Shah Ashok S.
