Become a Wolo Trustee We are looking to grow our team! We are a young, fast-growing and dynamic charity, having a huge impact on people’s lives. Become a Wolo trustee and help make a difference to families all over Sussex affected by cancer. - Voluntary work - Around 2 hours per week, but this can be more when supporting projects/events - Regular virtual attendance at monthly Trustee meetings - Location is flexible – but ideally, you’ll be Sussex-based. HQ is in Litlington, East Sussex About Wolo WOLO Foundation (We Only Live Once) helps to improve the quality of life of families living in Sussex on their cancer journeys. The bespoke support we offer includes practical help and emotional support, wellness opportunities and family experiences. We work with local businesses and communities to offer all family members a wealth of services to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond. The founders and our Trustees are, professional, motivated and reliable and share our values and our determination to deliver the best possible experience for our families. World Book Day☀️ 'Messages from the Sea' is now available to purchase. All profits donated to WOLO WOLO Foundation- to help families affected by cancer. A beautifully crafted book by the amazing CreativeFlorence. Design, Illustration & Scribbles. Narrated by a Turtle who takes a journey around the world meeting sea animals in various seas and oceans (featuring Wolo the Whale). The sea animals leave messages asking for help about the pollution taking over their homes. The story is simple and positive and helps explain that by making changes, we can help save their homes from pollution by looking at our own behaviours with regard to recycling and plastic waste! The book also has an alphabet theme which adds to the journey throughout the book. All the illustrations are created in mixed media. The design and layout has a fun conversational style. The words and images provide humour which will reach a varied age group. Flo is responsible for the whole creation of this first edition.
