Let's take a moment to appreciate Beth Karawan 🍩's brilliant suggestion of personalized donuts at the Women in CX ™ conference. This giveaway alone proves that she truly understands CX and the outside-in approach to business. =) Beth not only presented a fantastic case study on product innovation and the power of unleashing women's inherent collaboration styles to revitalize a brand, but she also inspired me with her unique storytelling techniques. I 💙 how she seamlessly blended movie clips and commercials into her session. This approach tapped into nostalgia and a sense of connectedness, allowing me to more deeply tune into her insights. The icing on the cake was getting to hang out with Beth for a bit after the conference ended. I truly appreciated her style, creativity, and passion for customers! Thank you Women in CX ™ for making this incredible experience possible! #wicx #customerexperience #womensupportingwomen #storytelling

Humility… I’ve worked with her for nearly a decade and I’m just now finding out that the White House honored her with a service award. And as she went up to speak at the Women in CX ™ conference, I found out she won the award again this week! Congrats Deepti Padakanti on a well-deserved recognition and inspiring talk. Clare Muscutt (WiCX), the Trailblazing Founder of Women in CX ™, delivered a powerful conversation about Product Market Fit & "Why Start Ups Fail." She shared the common approach of Inside Out Research, where companies start with a product and then craft a campaign that appeals to the pain points. While this approach may work, it often falls short because being a great product isn't enough. The solution must enable customers' desired outcomes in a way that is enjoyable to use. Clare emphasized that the approach should seek the intersection of desirability, feasibility, and viability. As I listened to Clare's insights, I couldn't help but reflect on my own career, recalling numerous examples of this gap. In fact, her talk was a timely wake-up call, highlighting some missteps I've been making within my own business. ( 🙏 Thanks, Clare!) 🔑 The key takeaway for business leaders is to always start from the outside and work our way in. We should observe customers through eyes of curiosity, not to validate our own beliefs. By getting to know them, their way of being, their ambitions, challenges, and desires, we earn the right to deliver a solution. This method positions us, our businesses, and our customers for success. #CustomerExperience #ProductDevelopment #Marketing #CustomerSatisfaction #Innovation

Head of Content and Communications, Women in CX

✨ Just got back from our first-ever Women in CX ™ UnConference in the US! 🇺🇸 It was such a milestone—our first event in America and the first time using the principles of Open Space, which led to some of the most inspiring conversations I’ve been part of. I feel so lucky to have spent time with some seriously brilliant women who brought their A-game to every session. The energy was amazing from start to finish!💡 A massive shoutout to Ericsson for generously hosting us at their North America HQ—it was the perfect spot for our event. Also, huge thanks to our amazing organising committee, led by Diane Magers and Kate Darcy! 🙏 Now that I’m back and shaking off the jet lag, I’m diving into the outputs from the UnConference, reliving it all. 📝 #WomenInCX #WiCXUnConference2024 #OpenSpaceTechnology #WomenSupportingWomen #AudaciousWomenInCX #CustomerExperienceEvents

If you're part of the CX community, you already know how brilliant Jeannie Walters, CCXP, CSP is. She's been a thought leader and impact maker for decades, elevating the way businesses deliver great experiences. Last week, she kicked off the Women in CX ™ event setting the tone of "Connecting Impact." What I loved most about her keynote, "Making CX a Strategic Asset," was the powerful call to action for CX leaders. She challenged practitioners to step into the role of a "General," maneuvering effectively. Jeannie asked what tactics CX leaders are using to become strategic assets. She provided actionable steps to prepare and position yourself as an impact-driven leader. I took away a strong message: if CX leaders aren't stepping into their power with credible and trusted insights, they're missing out on the opportunity to make an impact. Her words come from a place of watching companies and CX teams struggle to transform because they lacked clear success metrics, owners, and behaviors to create high-impact business outcomes. I applaud Jeannie for continuing to be a vocal and influential champion for CX, people, and business success. Thank you Clare Muscutt (WiCX) Sabine Groven Meg Coates and the Women in CX ™ team for such an amazing event. I have more to share as I reflect on the 2 day event! #customerexperience #customercentricity #transformation #leadership #CX #EX

Ditch the Overwhelm, Master Your Time, and Lead with Confidence | Unfiltered Leadership Coach | Human-Centered CX & EX Designer

Last week at the Women in CX ™ UNconference in Dallas, I stood alongside some truly inspiring women, talking boundaries, leading visualization exercises, and facilitating a conversation around CX burnout with the power of Open Space Technology. It was pure magic—two days full of insight, connection, and energy that left me feeling more empowered and grateful than ever. And, little did I know, I accomplished a goal I didn’t even know I had—line dancing to Shania Twain! 😂💃 Here’s what hit me the hardest: - Mindset is a strategy, business is a discipline. If you’re not intentional about it, you're missing the point. - Bring the reality check. Get real with yourself and your business—dream big, but stay grounded. - Proactivity is the lifeblood of CX. It's no longer about reacting; it's about setting the course. - The era of CX programs is over. It’s time to build CX models that are agile and human-centric. - Insight = revelation. It’s not just data; it’s what fuels brilliant work. - Stories drive action. Facts tell, but stories sell—and they get people moving. I could go on forever, but just know this: The Human-Centered Business Movement is officially ON. What’s your biggest takeaway when it comes to CX today? I’d love to hear how you’re creating real impact in your corner of the world.👇 A huge thank you to the incredible WiCX team and all the amazing participants—you made this journey truly special. 💫 #WomenInCX #Boundaries #WiCXAmerica #HumanCenteredBusiness #WiCXUnConference2024
