#Freightliner was delighted to partner with model locomotive manufacturers, Accurascale, in the production of OO gauge models of Freightliner locomotive 66415, named 'You Are Never Alone'. Freightliner joined forces with Samaritans in November 2019, during Men's Mental Health month, to name its locomotive 66415 'You Are Never Alone' at a naming ceremony at Ipswich Station. The partnership with Samaritans paid tribute to and raised awareness of the incredible work they do to prevent suicide across the UK and ROI. Sadly, we recognise that suicides on the UK #rail network are a far too common occurrence. We wanted to raise awareness that you are not alone, Samaritans are always there to listen. By donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Freightliner model locomotive, Accurascale raised a fantastic £10,000 for Samaritans. Freightliner CEO, Tim Shoveller was delighted to join Steve Purves from Accurascale in making a cheque presentation to Samaritans.
