🚛 **Exciting News for Veterans into Logistics!** 🚛 We’re thrilled to announce that Veterans into Logistics has been awarded a grant of £105,060 from The Veterans' Foundation’s inaugural Major Grants programme! This incredible support will allow us to support *100 veterans* into logistics careers. Our Holistic Pathway into Logistics Careers project will enable us to continue our commitment to empower veterans through upskilling and HGV driver training, followed by sourcing the veteran employment opportunities through our logistics partners who recognise and respect the work ethics veterans’ possess from their time in service. Here’s what our General Manager, John Harker MBE, said: “As veterans ourselves, we understand the challenges that come with transitioning to civilian life. We work closely with our veteran learners, logistics partners, and the broader armed forces community to provide dedicated support that ensures each veteran's journey to a rewarding HGV career is as smooth and successful as possible.” The Major Grants programme supported eight charities that undertake projects to assist with mental health and wellbeing issues amongst the armed forces community.
