  • Green Distillation: Maotai's pioneering Eco-Metaverse project by Turenscape has been named the winner of the GROHE Water Prize 2024! 🏆 This research and development project spans 8 hectares in Maotai Town, Guizhou Province, where it supports a liquor distillery by managing the daily output of 7,000 tons of sewage and industrial wastewater. The project creates an ecosystem that fully integrates water, nutrient, carbon, and energy recycling. The judges noted this advanced technological and environmental proposal was welcome evidence of Chinese strong advancement and desire to be a leader in sustainable industrial practices. The monitoring of environmental and performance data, used to fine-tune the technology, makes it a truly research-driven initiative. The project makes a conscious effort to align the company’s legacy and operations with modern environmental principles, ensuring that economic growth is achieved without compromising the environment. Congratulations to Turenscape 👏 #Sustainability #Innovation #GroheWaterPrize2024 #EcoTech #NatureBasedSolutions #EnvironmentalLeadership

Facades play a crucial role in architecture, serving multiple functional, aesthetic and symbolic purposes. The facade of a building gives it its visual identity and sets the tone for material expression. This exterior design can also serve to complement or enhance the surrounding environment and landscape. There’s an array of projects on this year’s shortlist that showcase how facades have enhanced the building’s form and structure through a range of design elements. These include visually enticing projects from all over the world such as from Australia, India and the Philippines, to Canada, Germany, Latvia and Turkey, which can be viewed on our website > https://bit.ly/3WaGpk2 Will you be attending this year’s #WAF24 in Singapore?
