Successful Delivery of Our Largest Diameter Silos 🤝🏽 Following on from our recent update, we are excited to announce that the remaining silos have now left Unit One at our HQ and have been successfully delivered to their new home in #Cheshire. These impressive silos, each weighing 18 tonnes, stand at 4.8m in diameter and 14.7m in height, and have been finished in a sleek green paint. Last Friday, we conducted a crucial Abrasive Wheel and Safe Grinder Use Training session at our HQ, led by our HSE Advisor, George Bowskill. Our current apprentices attended this training session, which focused on equipping them with essential safety knowledge and practical skills. 👷🏽 The comprehensive session covered key areas, including: Legislation governing safe use Identification and proper storage of abrasive wheels The practical segment focused on: Hazard Identification Safe changing of the abrasive wheel Correct application for grinding, cutting, and polishing Proper PPE usage Care and maintenance of equipment These training sessions ensure our team remains skilled, safe, and compliant in their roles, supporting both personal growth and operational excellence. 🎗 Celebrating the Success of the Splash of Pink Breast Cancer Ball! 🎗 We were thrilled to be part of the incredible 'Splash of Pink Breast Cancer Ball' last month, where the goal was to raise funds for life-saving equipment for Macclesfield Hospital's Breast Cancer Unit. This event was organised by the amazing Gena Moors, accounts manager at Industrial Engineering & Installation Services, who we have had the pleasure of working alongside in the past. When Gena approached us, we were delighted to get involved, sponsoring the casino table for the night. 🌟 The evening was a Vegas-themed extravaganza with a fun casino, showgirls, Rat Pack singers, a drinks reception, a three-course dinner, and even a disco until 1 am! The effort and dedication Gena put into this event are simply inspiring. The goal was to raise £25k for essential equipment, and we’re thrilled to announce that the target was smashed - hitting over £33k!
