This week, we had the pleasure of hosting another High Sheriff Forum on behalf of Charles Moyle, High Sheriff of Worcestershire. This quarter’s forum focused on Supporting People Facing Homelessness. 🏠♥️ A huge thank you to all the amazing organisations and charities across our community who took part, and of course, to our fantastic speakers: 📌 Mandy Collymore – Centrepoint 📌 Kate Bailey – Wyre Forest District Council 📌 Judith Ford & Alice Thompson – Wyre Forest & South Worcestershire Nightstop & Mediation 📌 Andy Price – Maggs Day Centre This forum was particularly bittersweet, as it marked Charles’ final forum during his tenure as High Sheriff. We also said farewell to Rachel Tucker who has chaired the forums for the past two years. Their dedication and leadership have been truly invaluable, and they will be greatly missed! A special highlight of the event was Charles presenting Coralie Hudson, our Fundraising Manager, with a High Sheriff of Worcestershire Award for her contribution to making these forums such a success. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Specsavers for their continued support in providing the perfect venue and lovely refreshments—your generosity makes such a difference! Looking ahead, Judith, Rachel, and Coralie are excited to welcome our incoming High Sheriff, Ian Smith, at his Declaration of Office in April. The forums will continue to bring together organisations and charities across Worcestershire, fostering inspiring presentations and meaningful conversations. #HighSheriffForum #Worcestershire #CommunityMatters #CharityCollaboration #SupportingOurCommunity #ThankYouCharles #WelcomeIan #ThankYouSpecsavers

🏡 Celebrating the Opening of Millpond House! 🎨 A new facility providing short-term accommodation for people while they find permanent homes is now open in Kidderminster! 🎉 Following the creation of inspiring artwork for Wyre Forest District Council’s new Millpond House, Jo, one of Nightstop's Homelessness Prevention Officers, and Kayden, one of the amazing young people we’ve supported, were delighted to meet Chris Rogers, Cabinet Member for Housing, Health, and Wellbeing, and take a tour of the new space. 📍 Millpond House, built by Wyre Forest District Council on the corner of Castle Road and New Road, offers 20 accommodation units to provide temporary housing while the council helps people secure a more permanent home. The project was delivered with MAKE Developments, Hive Projects, WT Partnerships, and Stepnells. A huge thank you to everyone involved in this important project! Together, we’re making a difference. ♥️🏠 #MillpondHouse #CommunitySupport #HomelessnessPrevention #MakingADifference #HousingForAll♥️🏠
