The best dog treat in the world.....maybe Here at W'ZIS we love a bit of praise, even when it comes from our Mums or our favourite clients. However, our egos have been officially dialled up to 11 with the latest news that we have been selected as a finalist for Best In Show at the Berlin Petcare Innovation Europe Awards (Petcare Innovation ) Why is this such good news? Well, this is an event which brings together C-Suite execs from across the industry to drive innovation, partnerships & investment. And we are looking to tick all three of those boxes. We have always strived to create and deliver a global brand which stands out among our multitude of competitors. To create a treat and an experience which genuinely brings a new approach which differs to our roommates on the same aisle. The fact we have been selected by industry leaders is a testament that we are on our way achieving this. In the UK, 8.8 billion pet food pouches end up in landfill every year. And across the (sadly polluted) pond, the US pet food industry is responsible for producing 300 million lbs of plastic waste annually. Of this, only 99% ends up in landfill and in the ocean. Only 1% of pet food packaging has an environmentally friendly end of life solution. By keeping W’ZIS plastic free, we have avoided putting 3000 tones of single-use plastics into the environment.
