When I set up the Manchester You and Everyone in Property (YEP) Committee in Dec 2024, the launch seemed so far away. Now it's been and gone, and I can't believe how amazing the YEP Manchester Launch event was. Beyond Cannes: Insights from MIPIM 2025 was a huge success, and it wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and contributions from so many people. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the first YEP Leeds x YEP Sheffield X YEPManchester Think Tank – kicking off our national YEP Think Tank series. The afternoon was filled with insightful speeches delivered by Bridget Wilkins - Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, Jonathan Wilson - Citu, and Andy Kean - Valos, as well as thought-provoking conversations around how we can use tech in the built environment to improve productivity and sustainability. It was great to also welcome students from School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing @ Leeds Beckett University and Constructive Futures, bringing fresh ideas from those about to enter the industry.
