The Combined Authority, created by City of York Council and North Yorkshire Council, has major new powers and funding to unlock transport and housing improvements, boost skills provision and help the economy transition to net zero. Making the most of the combined strengths of the city region and rural power house, the Combined Authority is a long-term commitment to shaping a brighter future for generations to come.

Phase one of the Vibrant and Sustainable High Streets Fund Closes this Friday, 21 March. A phased approach is being taken to deliver the Vibrant and Sustainable High Streets Fund, with funding being released in stages. This fund is designed to rejuvenate and reanimate high streets across York and North Yorkshire. Phase One provides grant funding for local partnerships to deliver high street regeneration projects.
