More than 100 businesses attended the Export Support Roadshows and we've had some fantastic feedback 👏 These events in Selby, Skipton, Northallerton, Harrogate and Scarborough were designed to give businesses the best start for their export journey. Thank you to our partners at the Department for Business and Trade, North Yorkshire Council and our Export Champions for making the events such a success. Export Champion, Colin Simpson from Tomlinson Hall & Co Ltd enjoyed a healthy Q&A session at the Northallerton event and summed up the advice by saying: "Exporting is all about building connections, both at home where you can find support to give you a strong start and help you over hurdles but it is also the same abroad - people buy from people, so it is all about starting those relationships."
