  • We were excited this week to see our new frozen ranges go live nationwide within Tesco, bringing bold Japanese-inspired flavours with four frozen dishes straight to homes in the UK. Designed for ultimate convenience without compromising on taste, there’s something for everyone - from delicious Chicken Teriyaki and Korean Style BBQ Beef to the iconic Chicken Katsu and an all-new Chicken Katsu Bao Bun Kit.   With this range comes a bold new packaging design, inspired by the iconic colours of our restaurant experience. The fun and vibrant palette takes cues from the famous plates on our signature Kaiten-zushi, while our unmistakable orange remains front and centre - ensuring instant recognition in the freezer aisle.    Mark Turner, Commercial Director of YO! said: “We’re thrilled to be building on our long-standing partnership with Tesco and expanding our offering with this exciting new frozen range. Bringing the bold flavours and iconic dishes our customers love into even more homes across the UK is a huge milestone for YO!. From our signature Chicken Katsu to the all-new Bao Bun Kit, we can’t wait for shoppers to experience the same great taste and quality they’d expect in our restaurants – now straight from their own freezers."

  • A huge thanks to Harry Bliss from Champion Health who joined our UK teams for an insightful LIVE Webinar last week, which covered a breadth of topics as part of Men's Health week. Throughout the call we tackled a range of Men’s Health topics and also touched upon best practice, preventative measures including where to signpost and access support. One focus was Male Suicide which is the biggest killer of men under the age of 35 and all people under the age of 50 in the UK. Last week we launched our incredibly exciting and new volunteering policy and program in partnership with our partners at Neighbourly. This partnership and program will give every single member of our team the opportunity to take a day off work each year to participate in a local community project which they choose themselves via the neighbouring platform. We are hoping to see our teams perform over 600 hours of volunteering collectively this year as we aim to be better neighbours and give our teams the opportunity to give back to their local communities.

As part of Neurodiversity Celebration Week last week we held a LIVE Webinar which was hosted by the fabulous Gamiel Yafai from Diversity Marketplace and featured a panel of Neurodiverse members of our Teams from across all our UK Operations. Our Panel talked openly about Neurodiversity to give all our teams a greater perspective and insight into Neurodiversity. Our teams heard about many types of Neurodiversity from our panel and the superpowers our Neurodiverse team bring to YO! We are extremely supportive of all our team here at YO!, wanting our people to thrive and flourish with their careers here with us. This webinar (supported by some very insightful videos from our team across our internal comms channels throughout the week) has really helped us all understand more about how we can support our Neurodiverse team so they realise their ambitions. It’s so great to connect our teams and give them fresh perspectives and appreciation for each other. A big thanks to Gamiel, our talented panel and all the team who attended and interacted.
