This month's Journal Introduces our newest project 'Ikebana & Pottery'. The transformation of a new-build high-rise in Canary wharf into an urban oasis that beautifully showcases the client’s treasured collection. This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom residence on the 26th floor became the ideal canvas when a Hong Kong-based couple chose to relocate to the UK. Our design vision was to reflect their deep appreciation for Japanese culture while providing elegant display spaces for their cherished ikebana flower arrangement and pottery collection. With a constrained budget, my team and I concentrated on high-impact areas to achieve a sophisticated transformation, all while adhering to essential Japanese design principles. Key principle's we used in this project are 'Ma', 'Taru wo Shiru' and 'Shizen'.
