This week, Young Bristol is celebrating National Trustee Week, which is an annual celebration of the achievements and incredible work Trustees offer to our charity!🙌 Kassim has been a Trustee with Young Bristol since 2011! With a background in youth work, Kassim joined us as he wants to continue to keep youth work alive in our city.🤩 Since joining us, Kassim has really enjoyed seeing the immense progress our charity has made over the year, being a part of all the up and downs we've experience on our journey so far!🚀 "Through serving on Young Bristol's Board, I have met other Trustees who I would never have met, or worked alongside in my life."💬 Read more about how we are celebrating National Trustee week here ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/eMtrEwak #NationalTrusteeWeek #TrusteesWeek #Volunteer #ThankYou

Eli's story📣 This week, we are celebrating National Youth Work Week! Young Bristol continue to encourage and support young people to volunteer across our programmes; where they can gain new experiences, develop their skills and empower them to succeed!💪 Eli is one of the 27 young people we have supported to volunteer across our programmes, here is his story: Eli, age 16, has overcome a number of challenges prior to joining The Grove. Prior to joining the club, Eli spoke very little English.🤝 Eli completed his Young Leader training in February 2024. He now actively volunteers two days a week at the club, where he uses the skills he learned to help and support younger members by teaching and coaching them how to play football.⚽ Read more about our Impact and programmes here⬇️ https://lnkd.in/egDBDxDa #YouthWorkWeek #YWW24 #ArtOfYouthWork #YoungPeople #YoungLeader #Volunteer
