Want to put brains back into brainstorming? Join us for our FREE action-packed workshop on June 18th. Successful businesses need a constant stream of powerful ideas to drive transformational growth. And brainstorming is the ‘go-to’ approach to idea generation and problem-solving. But does it work? We don't think so! It might be true that we should ‘trust the process’. But even so, the focal point should always be people. Why? Because it’s the people (not the process!) who fuel brainstorming with the all-essential brainpower. Our interactive online workshop seeks to put the brains back into brainstorming. Together we will explore what happens when we shift our focus from the process of brainstorming to the people who generate the ideas. Join us if you are a… - Facilitator who designs / delivers sessions involving ideation or problem-solving - Frequent (or semi-frequent) brainstorming participant - Frustrated leader who wants to find a better way to generate ideas - Curious human being who believes in the power of people

If ‘workshopping’ was a sport, we scored a hat trick this week! The week started by welcoming a wonderful cohort of lawyers and legal professionals to the 3rd and final session of our “Leverage Your Creative Intelligence in Law” programme. We loved creating this programme in partnership with the dynamic duo, Nina Pearse & Celia Falkenberg from Creativity Wake-Up and can’t wait to run it again in September. --------- Midweek magic came in the form of opening our virtual workshop door to 28 curious people who wanted to understand why they often hate brainstorming… ... and how they can learn to love it. Our goal? To put the brains back into brainstorming. The action-packed 45-minute session went by in a flash! The conversation continued with all of those staying on for our much-loved after-party. Thanks to Emma Bawden and Hanne Kristiansen for (yet again!) stepping up to the virtual workshop the challenge. --------- We finish the week together with the Creative ID community of certified consultants. The community keeps growing and now includes 70+ people from more than 20 countries. We meet once a month to co-learn, cross-fertilise our know-how and simply... ... to support each other. The topic of this month’s session? The Power of Team Dynamics! Very topical indeed....

At the end of our Creative ID Certification course, we wrap up the final session by asking the participants sum up their experience in 3 words. What did our May cohort say?!? Thanks to Franck Vinchon, Helen Beckingham, Helen G., Katherine Weeks FLPI, Kirsten Harwood, Marina Schneider, Rob Wright – Resilience Specialist and Sue Firth for joining us. Your curiosity, insightful questions and bravery to leap into the unknown were the essential fuel that powered the learning journey. It was a real joy to work with you! And of course: thanks to Emma Bawden, Lee Rabbetts and Hanne Kristiansen for your energy and constant evolution of the course... it keeps getting better and better! ---------------------------------- Creative ID is a psychometric framework that helps people think differently about thinking differently. We certify independent and in-house consultants, coaches and trainers in the tool so they can use it to add value to their own projects and clients. Think back to the last time you were invited to a brainstorming session… How did you feel?                          Where you excited and couldn’t wait to join? Did you dread it… but did it? Was it better than you expected? Did it turn out to be waste of time?   If successful businesses rely on a constant stream of new and powerful ideas, why do we blindly go through the brainstorming motions when generating those ideas?   And is there a different way?   Join our interactive online workshop on May 30th if you want to put the BRAINS back into the STORMING of BRAINSTORMING.   Together we will explore what happens when we shift our focus from the PROCESS of brainstorming to the PEOPLE who generate the ideas.   Specifically, the session will answer the following questions… • Why most of us hate brainstorming; and how we can all learn to love it • What each of us bring to brainstorming sessions; and how to benefit from this • Why we brainstorm; and how we can rethink the way we do it   Join us if you are a… • Facilitator who designs / delivers innovation and ideation sessions • Frequent (or semi-frequent) brainstorming participant • Frustrated leader who wants to find a better way to generate ideas • Curious human being who believes in the power of people DATE        Thursday 30th May, 2024 TIME         9am (London) / 10am (Paris) LENGTH    45 mins + 15 mins ‘Ask Us Anything!’

Last week was a BIIIIIG week for our very own soon-to-be-Dr Lee. Not only did he get nominated for The University of Sheffield education awards, he also handed in the first draft of his PhD! 88,000 words. 234 pages. And nearly 4 years of hard work is now waiting for to be reviewed by the eagle-eyed Professor Kamal Birdi. By Wednesday (8th May), we'll know if Lee's nomination led to an award 🏆 The outcome of the review will take a wee bit longer 😉 Regardless of the outcome... in our eyes, Lee will always be a winner!
