NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK DAY 5 Meet our apprentice Charlie Jones. Charlie has been employed by Y Prentis since January 2023 and is gaining his experience with Host Contactor Birkemp Brian Bird. Why did you choose an apprenticeship? "I definitely preferred site based learning hands on and seeing the building process as a whole to grasp abetter understanding of the system. I enjoy working outside and doing part-time college. Plus you get paid and feel more financially stable." What advice would you give to a young person considering the future? "My advice would be to keep your head down and just chip away at the college work and site based evidence so it doesn't build up and stress you out. keeping on top of it with a routine means less stress.

NATIONAL APPRETICESHIP DAY4 - Meet our Apprentice Jack Hayes who has been employed by Y Prentis since August 2022 and is gaining his experience with our host Haines Painting & Decorating. Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship? " I decided that the help that Y Prentis provides would make it easier to both find a job and hold a job. It also give me the gives me the benefit of being absolutely sure that I have someone to talk to about any problems I have on my apprenticeship". What advice would you give to a young person considering their future? Choose a path you feel comfortable in doing and make sure you see yourself doing in in the future.
